Welcome to our new website. We have finally updated the
website with this new look. The new site will have plenty more information and will be kept updated with rides and cycling information, and of course details of our products and services.
About Us
BCR Bikes is a small business based in Orpington (in the Bromley Borough) in a retail outlet a stone’s throw from Sevenoaks Way. Although a new business we have many years of experience within the cycle industry and even more as keen cyclists ourselves.
Bromley Cycle Repair opened in October 2010 focussing on servicing and training. We service all types of bikes from small children’s bikes through to top of the range road and mountain bikes. We run maintenance courses for both novice and enthusiast, plus training courses teaching road craft and off-road skills. We have recently been involved in running a local British Cycling Go-Ride club and an afternnon schools club. We are now in the process of starting another local club for teenage children, starting in the new year. We have now expanded to selling bikes under the name of BCR Bikes.
BCR Bikes – Becoming a bicycle retailer is something special and takes commitment and, with that in mind we felt that whilst ‘Bromley Cycle Repair’ was perfect for it’s initial target audience, having expanded into selling cycles, we wanted to let you (the customer) know that we’re now more than just a service centre. From this, BCR Bikes was born, the BCR being ‘Bromley Cycle Repair’.
When we started out we wanted to keep things simple, we didn’t want to be like any normal high street store stocking masses of bikes and brands and giving an impersonal service. We wanted to be different, we wanted to offer something more. We set out to be a specialist dealer for a few prestigious brands. Brands that had not only years of experience but also a loyal customer following gained from years of providing truly great products.
We are very proud to have been accepted as authorised dealers for the brands that we wanted.

We do however have a vast array of suppliers and can supply other brands of cycles too, although we do not stock these we can certainly source them upon request.
